Insurance
claims are different than regular construction jobs. Processing
insurance claims can be challenging. We have the experience, know-how,
and relationships to smooth out and speed up this process for you.
The
Process
It helps to divide the Insurance Claims process into three parts:
Containment
|
Emergencies
require immediate attention to contain the source of the damage
and stabilize the damaged property.
Non-emergency
losses also need to be contained before work begins.
|
 |
Coordination
We
will coordinate with the assigned adjuster and when approval is
given we will contact the policy owner for an appointment to determine
the scope of the job.
Exception:
Sometimes the adjuster will coordinate with the policy owner exclusively
and we will be depending on the policy owner to let us know the
outcome of the adjusters decision.
Next,
we will meet with the adjuster, review the job and make sure our
estimates coincide so that we restore the same, like, kind,
and quality of products to the policy owners property
according to the terms of the insurance policy.
|
After
the adjuster approves the scope, the Project Manager will
meet with the policy owner to review the job details and create
a project schedule. The schedule is dependent on the size
of job and the amount and type of materials that need to be
ordered.
|
 |
|
Our
project managers are required to:
- Plan
the job from start to finish before work begins.
- Use
individual planning systems and daily team coordinating
meetings to
- Staff,
- Organize,
- Direct
and
- Control
the job each step of the way.
|
 |
We
will work within the insurance companys pricing standards
and scope of work so that we only charge or do work that the insurance
company will authorize and fund. In the event additional work is
requested, we charge prices competitive in the open market.
