Project Manager




Experience
Five (5) years in construction and or restoration industry

Technical Skills
(1) proficient knowledge of Xactimate codes associated with water losses; (2) proficient knowledge of Xactimate codes associated with cosmetic fire losses (i.ei.e., the fire damage is limited to the contents and cosmetic aspects of the structure) (3) the ability to cultivate at least twenty new subcontractors; (4) the ability to successfully handle the "On-Call Pager" and coordinate emergency jobs; (5) the ability to segregate common building materials into standard insurance groups; (6) an understanding of residential construction methods; (7) an understanding and adherence to Padgett's Safety Program; (8) ability to meet annual set quotas; (9) knowledge of standards set forth by the industry for both remediation of sewage and mold and show the ability to read and interpret hygienist reports for remediation.

The applicant must demonstrate a willingness; (1) to follow all company policies; (2) to learn, be part of a team, work hard, and to serve others; (3) to accept all assignments; (4) to ask questions and study as required to learn new skills and concepts; and (5) to work beyond the minimum requirements. The applicant must also demonstrate; (1) a consideration for other employees, company management, and customers; (2) a positive attitude regarding all aspects of the job; (3) an understanding of the administrative functions and requirements of the company and a willingness to conform to those requirements without hesitation.

Leadership Skills
The applicant must understand advanced business concepts (labor costs, material purchasing, etc.) and must demonstrate a commitment to the success of Padgett's Cleaning & Restoration. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to: (1) lead others in the technical task at hand; and, (2) accept challenging assignments and to gather the information required for successful completion of the assignment. The applicant must also demonstrate a willingness and ability to: (1) provide company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects; (2) to work with, and teach, less experienced employees; (3) explain Master job Plans to other employees and subcontractors; (4) encourage other employees to apply good work ethics and habits and to conform to company policies; and (56) make observations and provide suggestions regarding employee and subcontractor development.
