Flooring Technician

A minimum of 1 year hands on experience in the flooring industry laying carpet and vinyl.

Tile and Wood floor experience a plus.

About the Position: Must be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission vehicle. Must have the ability and knowledge to lay new flooring or relay existing flooring. Must be able to learn and execute basic cleaning procedures for water and fire damage and understand mold hazards and containment systems. An attitude receptive to constant learning through our on-going training program is required. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers in a pleasing manner.

About Your Attitude: Positive orientation toward customer service and working on a complimentary basis with fellow team members. Must be open to constructive criticism as part of the growth and learning process. Must follow all company policies and directives and be aware of safety requirements at all times. Basic leadership skills should be learned such as job status reporting, accomplishing company monthly goals, and job and task planning.

Credentials and Licenses: Valid California driver's license and insurable. Certain trade licenses helpful.
